Rag Mayur

Rag Mayur, also credited as Rag Mayur Chevuri, is an actor who works in Telugu cinema. He is best known for playing Maridesh Babu in Cinema Bandi (2021), a Raj & DK production, and for his part in Keedaa Cola (2023), the film directed by Tharun Bhascker. These two titles remain the works most closely tied to his name. His screen career began with Mental Madhilo (2017), and he went on to appear in The Family Man (2019). The real turning point came with Cinema Bandi in 2021, where his performance as Maridesh Babu became the role audiences remember him for most. He followed it with Modern Love Hyderabad (2022) and then Keedaa Cola in 2023. In 2024 he was part of Veeranjaneyulu Vihara Yatra. The year 2025 proved to be his busiest so far, with four releases: Sivarapalli, Gandhi Tatha Chettu, Subham and Mithra Mandali. His credits also include Anumana Pakshi (2026). Rag Mayur has built his name through character parts rather than conventional leading roles, moving between small town stories, comedies and dramas. Over close to a decade in Telugu entertainment, he has worked with makers such as Raj & DK and Tharun Bhascker, and Maridesh Babu is still the character most fans link with him.
