She is the founder of Radaan Mediaworks, which has produced many successful TV serials like Chithi, Selvi, and Arasi. She has acted in over 200 films in South Indian film languages. She has received awards for Tamil films such as four Filmfare Awards, four Tamil Nadu state Award for Best Actress. She has awarded Nandi Award and Filmfare Award Telugu for Best Actress. Radhika is the daughter of the late Tamil actor and comedian, Mohan R Radha. Her mother is a Sri Lankan. She has a younger sister named Nirosha (Niroja), who is also an actress. She is married to an actor Sarath Kumar. Radhika Sarathkumar has acted in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi as well as Malayalam films. After becoming the successful actress in cinema, Radhika wanted to do something different and decided to take on the small screen, something she believed in, namely producing her own TV software under the Radaan TV banner in 1994.Radaan Mediaworks the company ventured into film production in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi markets. Radaan has plans to enter into Hindi television market. She is producing and acting in a brand new serial for MediaCorp vasantham by the title "Puriyaamal Pirinthom" under Radaan TV production. Currently she is doing a dual role in TV serial namely "Vani Rani".
