Priya Anand is an Indian actress who works mainly in Tamil cinema and has also taken roles in Telugu, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam films. She is best known for English Vinglish (2012), Fukrey (2013) and Ethir Neechal (2013). She worked as a model from 2008 before her first screen role in the Tamil film Vamanan (2009). Her Telugu debut, Leader, followed in 2010, along with Rama Rama Krishna Krishna that same year. She reached Hindi audiences through a supporting part in English Vinglish (2012), then appeared in Fukrey (2013) and Rangrezz (2013). In Tamil she starred in Ethir Neechal (2013), Vanakkam Chennai (2013), Arima Nambi (2014) and Vai Raja Vai (2015). The years after brought Raajakumara (2017), Fukrey Returns (2017), Ezra (2017), Kayamkulam Kochunni (2018) and Adithya Varma (2019). She went on to LKG (2019), James (2022), Maha (2022), Andhagan (2024), Sumo (2025) and Balaramana Dinagalu (2026). Her career is marked by range. Few actors move as easily between five film industries, and she has done so for more than fifteen years, taking lead roles in some films and supporting parts in others. That steady presence across languages has made her a familiar face to audiences in many parts of India.
