Ohmkar

Ohmkar is a Telugu film director and television presenter, fondly called Omkar Annayya by his fans. Audiences know him as the host and producer of the shows Mayadweepam, Aata and Sixth Sense, and as the filmmaker behind the Raju Gari Gadhi series. His first film as director, Genius (2012), brought him a nomination for Best Debut Director (Telugu) at the South Indian International Movie Awards. Ohmkar began his career in television as a writer and later moved into cinema as a director. After Genius in 2012, he made Raju Gari Gadhi (2015), for which he also wrote the story. That film grew into a franchise he continued with Raju Gari Gadhi 2 (2017), where he also took charge of the screenplay, and Raju Gari Gadhi - 3 (2019), which he both directed and produced. He also has an acting credit in Sixth Sense (2018). He returned as director and producer with Mansion 24 (2023). Ohmkar is known for taking on many roles at once, moving between writing, hosting, producing and directing. The Raju Gari Gadhi films are the work most closely linked to his name in cinema, while his television shows made him a familiar face for Telugu viewers.
