Magizh Thirumeni is a well-known director in the Kollywood industry who is known for his movies like 'Mundhinam Paartheney', 'Thadam' etc.  Magizh Thirumeni who was born on 9th October 1978 loves to read Tamil and Russian literature. He also wrote poetry and short stories but soon developed an interest on filmmaking. He used to often visit the offices of directors P Vasu and T Rajendar hoping to get a movie offer. After so many struggles, director Kasthuri Raja finally got Magizh to work on his son Selvaragavan's debut movie. He first worked as an assistant director for Thuluvatho Ilamai movie. Then he met his mentor Gautham Menon and joined him during the production of Khaka Khaka. He also worked extensively on Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu movie.  Magizh finally marked his directorial debut with 2010 released Mundhinam Partheney movie which received a decent response from the audience. His second movie was an action thriller featuring Arun Vijay which became a sleeper hit. After making another thriller Meghamann in 2014 with Arya, Magizh released 'Thadam' movie became a blockbuster. The movie got remade in Telugu with the title 'Red' starring Ram.  Also Magizh also marked his acting debut with the recently released 'Teddy' movie starring Arya and Sayyeshaa.  Magizh is also working as a dubbing artist and gave his voice for Anurag Kashyap's role in 'Imaikka Nodigal' movie.
