Khushboo Sundar

Khushboo Sundar, also known as Kushboo, is an Indian actress whose career spans Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi cinema. Telugu viewers know her best for Yamadonga, Agnyaathavaasi and Natudu. Away from the camera, she has also worked as a film producer, a television personality and a politician. Her honours include three Tamil Nadu State Film Awards and a Kerala State Film Award. In Telugu films, she played a lead role in Natudu (2001). Six years later she took a supporting part in Yamadonga (2007), a film that remains one of her most visited titles. She returned to a leading role in Sthreela Kosam (2010). After that, she moved into supporting roles in larger Telugu projects, first in Agnyaathavaasi (2018) and then in Peddhanna (2021). She also appeared in Rama Banam (2023). What sets her apart is the sheer size of her body of work. She has acted in more than 200 films, and over 100 of those belong to Tamil cinema alone. Her ease in moving between five languages has kept her familiar to audiences in many parts of the country. Along with her state film awards, she has received two Cinema Express Awards and the Kalaimamani Award.
