Kavya Thapar is a Telugu film actress who has also worked in Tamil and Hindi cinema. Audiences know her best for Eagle (2024), Ooru Peru Bhairavakona (2024) and Bichagadu 2 (2023). Of all her films, Eagle earned the most at the box office. Kavya first faced the camera in 2018, playing a role in the Telugu film Ee Maaya Peremito. Market Raja MBBS came out in 2019. In 2021 she took a part in Ek Mini Katha, and in 2022 Middle Class Love gave her a first step into Hindi films. Her 2023 work included Farzi and Pichaikkaran 2, the film that took her into Tamil cinema and that Telugu viewers watched as Bichagadu 2. The year 2024 was her busiest so far, with three Telugu releases: Eagle, Ooru Peru Bhairavakona and Double iSmart. Kavya is known for working across three languages and for moving between different kinds of stories, from the gentle tale of Ek Mini Katha to the action of Eagle and the fantasy world of Ooru Peru Bhairavakona. Her work in both the Tamil original and the Telugu version of the Pichaikkaran sequel helped her reach fans in two southern markets. Eagle remains the high point of her career at the box office.
