Hesham Abdul Wahab
Hesham Abdul Wahab is a music director, music producer and singer who composes mainly for Malayalam cinema and also works in Telugu films. Audiences know them best for the songs of Hridayam (2022), Kushi (2023) and Hi Nanna (2023), and their music direction has won a Kerala State Film Award as well as SIIMA and IIFA honours. Their score for Qadham Badha (2015) was an early mark of their talent, and Hridayam (2022) widened their fame. In 2023 they scored Madhura Manohara Moham, Kerala Crime Files, Sesham Mike-il Fathima, Philip's and Spark, and moved into Telugu cinema with Kushi and Hi Nanna, singing for the second as well. Manamey and Once Upon a Time in Kochi followed in 2024, the same year they appeared on screen as an actor in Varshangalkku Shesham. Samshayam, Maaman and The Girlfriend came in 2025, and their 2026 work includes Do Deewane Seher Mein, Made in Korea, Once More, Madhuvidhu and Brindavihari. Hesham often lends their own voice to the tunes they create, moving easily between the composer's desk and the microphone. Beyond their wins, the Filmfare Awards South nominated them in 2023 for Madhura Manohara Moham and Hi Nanna as music director and for Kushi as male playback singer, while SIIMA nominated them in 2021 for Madhuram.
