A woman in distress finds solace in a man who accepts her as his sister and seeks justice for her. Akbar Basha (Sivaji Ganesan) is a blacksmith and a man who stands up against injustice. He rescues Kasturi (Sarita) and accepts her as his sister. Kasturi tells Akbar how Prakash (Sharat Babu) raped her as an act of revenge. Her troubles do not end as Akbar is arrested on a false charge.
