Manchi Manishi is a Telugu drama starring NTR, Jaggaiah and Jamuna, directed by K. Prathyagathma. Veeraiah is a daily labour whose father is a thief. Ranganath (Gummdi) is a lawyer by profession. Veeraiah's wife and Ranganath's wife deliver baby boys in the same hospital at the same time. Because of Veeraiah's grudge on Ranganath, he exchanges the babies.

Sujatha (Savithri) is a rich girl and her best friend Vasantha (Krishna Kumari) is poor. Vasantha accidentally hits Shekar (Akkineni) with her car. Later, both Sujatha and Vasantha fall in love with Shekar. The movie is based on a Telugu novel named Kaalaatheetha Vyakthulu written by Dr. Sridevi.

Appuchesi Pappukudu is a humorous tale of debtor Ramadasu (CSR Anjaneyulu) and creditor Dewan Bahadur (SV Ranga Rao). Ramadasu wants his already married son Raghu (Jaggaiah) to marry Dewan's daughter Majari (Savitri) for wealth & riches. Raja (NTR) brother-in-law of Raghu walks in to teach everyone a lesson. MT Rao (NT Rama Rao) and Mary aka Missamma (Savitri) portray as a couple and join a school run by Gopalam (SV Ranga Rao) to make a living. Raju (ANR), Gopalam's nephew and also an amateur detective finds resemblances between Gopalam's missing daughter Mahalakshmi and Mary. The story revolves around the troubles they face as a fake couple and discovering whether Mary is Mahalakshmi.

Malliswari (Bhanumathi) and her cousin Nagaraju (NTR) grow up together and love each other deeply. When King Krishnadevaraya comes in disguise to their village, Nagaraju asks him if it's possible to get Malliswari into the queen's royal enclosure without knowing who he is. Later to their dismay, Malleswari and Nagaraju realise that the Queen's royal enclosure only has an entry but no exit.
