Jhansirani is a 1988 Telugu thriller starring Rajendra Prasad, Bhanupriya and others. A fiesty woman called Jhansi Rani is after a man called Mr. V who is a con man. He fools women by marrying them and then fakes his own death and disappears with the dowry. Unknowingly, her handicapped sister married him and then committed suicide after his disappearance. Jhansi Rani is unable to attend the wedding so she doesn't know what he looks like. But she must catch him before he fools more women!

Samsaram Oka Chadarangam is a family drama which is a remake of a Tamil superhit Samsaram Adhu Minsaram. Due to the difference in their ideologies, an egoistic son (Sarath Babu) starts to fight with his father (Gollapudi Maruthi Rao) and they divide the house into two parts. Now the responsibility is on the son's wife (Suhasini) to bring peace between the two.

Chinna's marriage is canceled so his bride, Lakshmi runs away from home in search of him. She faces a lot of hurdles and is suspected of murder. Finally, the case is closed.

The story revolves around a joint family, where the men dominate their wives. The wives resent this and plan to change their husbands' perception with the intention of having a happy and affectionate family where everyone is treated equally
