Soundarya Chandramukhi is a 1993 Telugu-dubbed Kannada horror film starring Vishnu Vardhan, Soundarya and more. A married couple, Ganga and Ramesh, buy a palatial house. A vengeful spirit resides in the house, unknowingly Ganga sets the spirit free and strange incidents start occuring. In the beginning the couple suspect their child but the psychiatrist reveals the truth.

Raju (Chiranjeevi) is forced to leave his job at a shipyard to find a better job in the city to pay for his paralytic mother's medical expenses. He joins Uma Devi's (Nagma) company and becomes a union leader. To silent conflicts, Uma marries Raju. Uma becomes a target of Ranganayakulu (Satyanarayana) and how Raju saves her and teaches her a lesson forms the story.
