Jamshad Cethirakath aka Arya is one of the noted actors in Kollywood who is known for his movies like 'Naan Kadavul', 'Madrasapattinam', 'Raja Rani', etc.  Arya was born on 11th December 1980 in Thrikaripur, Kerala. He completed his schooling in SBOA Matriculation And Higher Secondary School, Chennai and graduated from Crescent Engineering College in Vandalur, Chennai. When Arya was working as an assistant software engineer, cinematographer Jeeva approached him to the addition of Ullam Ketkume movie in 2003. Arya signed the project but as the film got delayed, his first appearance became 'Arinthum Ariyamalum'. Later, Arya got his major breakthrough with 'Naan Kadavul' movie in 2009 which also got released in Telugu as 'Nene Devudni'. Arya acted in so many superhit movies like 'Madrasipattinam', 'Raja Rani', 'Aarambam', 'Vasuvum Saravananum Onna Padichavanga', 'Gajinikanth', 'Teddy' etc.  Arya also started a production company called The Show People and bankrolled a bunch of movies. His first production venture is Amarakaviyam movie. Later he bankrolled movies like Double Barrel, Anuraga Karikkin Vellam, The Great Father etc.  In 2010 Arya also became a distributor with 'Boss Engira Baskaran' movie in 2018. Arya was the prospective bridegroom on the show Enga Veetu Mapillai aired on Colours Tamil searching for a bride from 16 contestants.  Arya met actress Sayyeshaa Saigal on the sets of Ghajinikanth and their friendship soon blossomed into love. The duo also share the screen space with 'Kaappaan' movie and tied the knot on 10th March 2019.  Arya won a Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut South and also received 2 nominations each for Filmfare awards and Vijay Awards. Arya was also included on the 2015 edition of the Forbes India celebrity 100 list based on the top earning Indian celebrity.
