Antony Varghese

Antony Varghese is an Indian actor who works in Malayalam cinema, where audiences know him by his screen name, Pepe. He is best known for Angamaly Diaries (2017), Jallikattu (2020) and RDX: Robert Dony Xavier (2023). His work in Angamaly Diaries earned him a South Indian International Movie Award. Pepe began his acting career in 2017 with Angamaly Diaries, the film that introduced him to Malayalam viewers. He then appeared in Swathanthryam Ardharathriyil in 2018, followed by Jallikattu in 2020. In 2021 he acted in Ajagajantharam and took a supporting part in Master. The year 2022 was a busy one, with Super Sharanya, Innale Vare, Aanaparambile WorldCup and Oh Meri Laila all reaching the screen. In 2023 he appeared in Poovan, Chaaver and RDX: Robert Dony Xavier. His later films include Kondal in 2024, Daveed and Maine Pyar Kiya in 2025, and Disco, I'm Game and Kattalan in 2026. Pepe built his whole screen career in Malayalam films, and he is known to fans by his screen name rather than his given name. His biggest recognition came with his very first film. In 2017 he won a South Indian International Movie Award in the Malayalam section for his performance in Angamaly Diaries, a debut honour that set the tone for the steady run of roles that followed.
