Ajay Ghosh

Pathipati Ajay Ghosh, also credited as Ajay Gosh, is an Indian actor and comedian who works mainly in Telugu cinema and in theatre, and has also acted in a few Tamil films. Audiences know him for hits such as Rangasthalam, Pushpa: The Rise and Guntur Kaaram. His biggest honour is a South Indian International Movie Awards nomination for Best Comedian (Telugu). He drew attention on screen with Jyothi Lakshmi in 2015 and Visaranai in 2016. In 2018 he appeared in Rangasthalam and Shambo Shankara, and in 2021 he was part of Pushpa: The Rise and Manchi Rojulochaie. In 2023 he acted in Bedurulanka 2012, Rudhran and Rudramambapuram, a film for which he also wrote the story. His 2024 work was his busiest, with Guntur Kaaram, Eagle, Family Star, Music Shop Murthy, Thalakona, Bharathanatyam, Saripodhaa Sanivaaram and Pushpa 2 - The Rule. He followed this with Jaat, They Call Him OG and Mass Jathara in 2025, and Peddi and Mookuthi Amman 2 in 2026. Ajay Ghosh is known for his comedy, a skill shaped by his roots in theatre. His turn in Manchi Rojulochaie earned him the 2021 nomination for Best Comedian (Telugu) at the South Indian International Movie Awards. Moving between big star films and smaller stories, he has built a steady place in Telugu cinema.
