Achu Rajamani

Achu Rajamani is a music director and singer who works mainly in Telugu cinema, with Tamil and Malayalam films also among his credits. His real name is Arun R, and he is also known as Achu or Achchu. He is best known for the music of Dronacharya (2011), Luck Unnodu (2017) and Virgin Story (2022). His first film as a composer was the Telugu movie Nenu Meeku Telusa? in 2008. He went on to create the songs for Dronacharya in 2011 and Naa Rakumarudu in 2014, then Luck Unnodu and Venkatapuram in 2017. In 2018 he wrote the music for Neevevaro and Goli Soda 2. Velvet Nagaram followed in 2020, the same year he composed the background music for Bhanumathi Ramakrishna. He then worked on Gaali Sampath and Shadow in 2021, Virgin Story and Urvasivo Rakshasivo in 2022, and Month Of Madhu in 2023. His later films include Toofan in 2024, and Jack, Gajaana, Daksha: The Deadly Conspiracy and Kumaara Sambavam in 2025. Besides composing, Achu also lends his own voice to film songs. He sang in Naadodigal 2 and Velvet Nagaram in 2020 and in Thellavarithe Guruvaram in 2021. His work spans three languages, and on some films he handles both the tunes and the singing.
