Audiences know her chiefly for Meesaya Murukku (2017), the film that first brought her to the screen, as well as Kodiyil Oruvan (2021) and Thiruvin Kural (2023). Her whole film career so far has been built in the Tamil industry, where she has steadily added new titles to her name. Her start came with Meesaya Murukku in 2017, in which she took on the part of Vennila. That first role gave her a foothold in Tamil films and led to further offers. A few years later she came back to the big screen with two films in 2021, Kodiyil Oruvan and Vijaya Raghavan. She followed these with Kaatteri in 2022. The year 2023 then saw her name attached to three titles: Thiruvin Kural, Kannai Nambathe and Chandramukhi 2, where she is credited as a contestant. Aathmika is known for a career that moved from modelling into lead and supporting work in Tamil cinema. Between 2017 and 2023 she appeared in a string of films that kept her in front of Tamil viewers year after year. For many fans, Vennila from her debut remains the part they link most closely with her name.
