What you have to get through
Anyone can applyRegistration is open to the public online, with a video making your case. Applications run to the lakhs.
Phone interviewThe shortlist is cut on video, personality and screen presence, then interviewed by phone.
Group discussionThose left are put in a room together and watched.
Face to faceThe judges and former housemates interview what remains, down to the finalists who go on air.
Trial by televisionThe finalists compete in tasks across the run. Judges score them, the public votes alongside, and the two together decide who gets a seat.
