Vishal (Irrfan Khan) arrives in Mumbai with dreams of becoming an actor but finds limited success that barely sustain him. Desperate and tempted to make money, he joins a lucrative venture. But as Vishal`s fame grows, society turns against him, leading him and his family to be ostracized. When things get nasty, will he be able to leave the venture?
