Recently, his new movie Bootcut Balaraju was released in theatres. After watching the film at Prasads Multiplex in Hyderabad, Sohel became emotional and his heartfelt words have now become viral on social media.

Expressing his feelings, Sohel said, "During my time on Bigg Boss, thousands of people used to write comments and support me. But now, I wonder why my fans are not supporting me? Why aren't you guys watching my films? I request all of you to please go and watch my movie. Many people have praised Bootcut Balaraju, and it is a film that can be enjoyed by the whole family."

Sohel also shared his disappointment, saying, "It's disheartening that even after delivering a good content film, people are not watching it. So, I have decided that my next project will be an adult-content film. From now on, I won't focus on family entertainers. Bootcut Balaraju is indeed a brilliant film, but unfortunately, we don't have the resources for extensive promotions."
