Yesteryear actress Vijaya Shanthi who is often called 'Lady Superstar' was one of the iconic heroines in the industry who rewrote so many records with her female-oriented films. After 'Naayudamma' movie in 2006, she took a long break of 13 years from films and recently marked her comeback into the industry with Mahesh Babu's recent outing, 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' under the direction of Anil Ravipudi which went on to become a superhit. According to the buzz, the makers at Prathima Films banner who previously bankrolled Vijaya Shanthi’s 1999 released 'Bharata Ratna' movie is now busy preparing a script for Vijaya Shanthi. It seems like this movie is also going to be a patriotic drama and Vijayashanthi will play a strong and powerful role in the flick. The actress turned politician is also impressed with the script and is likely to sign the dotted line very soon. The movie shooting will take place in Kashmir and the official announcement will get released soon. The fans are also excited to see Vijaya Shanthi in a patriotic film again after a long time.
