The teaser poster looks intriguing, showing a remote hospital bed with bloodstains all over it and a gun, unnatural in all its ways. It turns out to be a remake of a Hollywood flick. The film is an official remake of the 2002 Denzel Washington film, John Q, as per the reports. The film is in its shooting phase and is believed to wrap-up in March 2021.

John Q, directed by Nick Cassavetes, released in 2002, is a story of John Q Archibald, who lives with his wife Denise and has a 9-year-old son Michael. Michael suffers from heart disease and needs an emergency heart transplant, which John couldn't afford. John swears to do anything to save his son's life. He takes the hospital emergency room as a hostage, on realizing that the treatment for the disease doesn't fall on the insurance list. The Hindi version has the star cast of Chandan Roy Sanyal, Neha Dhupia, and Bengali actress Rukmini Maitra (making her Bollywood movie debut) in pivotal roles.
