Vetrimaaran, the sensational director, has won both audience and critical acclaim for his latest film "Viduthalai Part 1", featuring Soori in the lead role. The film has also been released in Telugu as "Vidudala Part 1" and is now set to make its debut on an OTT platform.

According to strong buzz, the film will be premiering on ZEE5 on April 28, 2023, with the possibility of the Telugu version also being released on the same platform. However, an official announcement from the streaming service is still awaited.

"Makkal Selvan" Vijay Sethupathi has played a powerful cameo in this cop action drama, alongside Bhavani Sre as the female lead, and with Chetan, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Ilavarasu, Balaji Sakthivel, Tamizh, and others playing significant roles. The film's music has been composed by the legendary Ilaiyaraaja.
