Varun Dhawan To Play A Physically Challenged Cop In His Next

Tamil super hit movie 'Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru' is now going to get remade in Hindi. Reputed filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala has acquired the remake rights of the movie and is all set to bankroll this project. As per the latest reports, the producer has roped in Bollywood star Varun Dhawan to play the lead role in the film. So, Varun Dhawan is going to play the role of a handicapped cop in this intense thriller drama. The makers have locked 'Sanki' as the official title of the movie and the makers are confident that just like the original version, this movie is also going to become a superhit.

Varun Dhawan and Sajid Nadiadwala have already joined hands twice for 'Dishoom' and 'Judwaa 2' movies. Now, the duo is going to collaborate for the third time for this remake movie. Rumors are rife that Bollywood beauty Parineeti Chopra is likely to play the female lead role in this movie. However, the official announcement regarding the same is yet to get released. Varun Dhawan is going to play the role of a physically challenged person for the first time in his career. The makers are planning to kickstart the shooting of the movie later this year. Meanwhile, Varun Dhawan will wrap up his 'Bhediya' and 'Jug Jugg Jeeyo' movies before starting this film. Varun also has Sriram Raghavan's 'Ekkis' movie in his pipeline.
