Now, she is going to play the lead with her 'Gabbar Singh' and 'Kaatamarayudu' co-star Pawan Kalyan in 'Vakeel Saab' movie which is releasing in April and also signed Prabhas' next titled 'Salaar' which is yet to go on a roll. Her Tamil flick, 'Laabham' starring Vijay Sethupathi is also going to get released soon.

Recently, while talking to the media, Shruti said that 'Vakeel Saab' is an important film as it deals with women’s safety and rights. “I feel that making statements through cinema is important and if you have someone who can influence a lot of people like Pawan Kalyan it’s great," said Shruti. The actress also claimed that 'Laabham' which deals with the current topic like farmers issues will also resonate with people. “I’ve become more courageous with my choices now,” said Shruti who played a grey shaded role in the recent digital release, 'Pitta Kathalu' which is streaming on Netflix.
