Taapsee Trains Hard For Shabaash Mithu

Taapsee Pannu will soon be seen on the Silver screen as the legendary Indian Cricketer, Mithali Raj. The film is a biopic based on the life of Indian cricketer Mithali Raj, and Taapsee has started training hard for the film. The actor posted a picture of her featuring herself holding a bat, with an intense look on her face from the preparatory session of the film. Sharing the picture Taapsee tweeted that her love for ball and bat has begun, a long journey to finish but it's good even it's halfway through. She also opined that this movie in a way would be another milestone for the captain cool Mithali Raj.

Taapsee is training under coach Nooshin Al Khadeer. Taapsee shared her excitement about the role, as she has always been a good spectator of the game and never played it. She had been a hyperventilating fan of the game, now making a biopic enacting as a cricket player. Playing as a cricketer is a big challenge for her and she is up for it, as she believes pressure brings the best in her. The film is being produced by Viacom18 Studios and is directed by Rahul Dholakia.
