Shefali's 'Someday' Made It Into The Final Selection For The 51st Annual USA Film Festival

Shefali Shah's directorial debut venture, 'Someday' got selected for the USA film festival

Shefali Shah recently won the Best drama series award at the international Emmy awards last year for her web show Delhi Crime. The actress has marked her debut directorial venture with 'Someday' which has now got selected for the 51st annual USA Film festivals International short film and video competition. The short video got shortlisted in the final list category of the Oscar accredited film festival and the final round of the judging will take place next week. 

'Someday' is the story of two women United by the umbilical cord and separated by a door. Vidhi is a frontline Warrior who comes home to a 7-day Quarantine after 15 days on duty. She shares conversations from the past and future with her mother who has been suffering from Alzheimer's. Talking about it, Shefali said that Someday is her first trial and error with direction and her labor of love has made it to the final selections of the USA film festival. "I can't explain how excited I am. The reason I send it to the festivals across the globe is to see where I stand as a newcomer in the direction and this is proof that I must have done something right," added Shefali.
