Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor who recently tasted success with 'Kabir Singh' movie is all set to come up with a sports drama 'Jersey'. Shahid Kapoor is also busy shooting for his upcoming web series by Raj and DK. The 'Udta Punjab' actor is all set to mark his digital debut with this web series. On the other hand, rumors came out that Shahid Kapoor walked out of Karan Johar's production venture 'Yoddha' due to some creative differences. After staying tight-lipped for about 4 months, director Shashank Khaitan has finally broke the silence and rubbished the rumors. He clarified that he is still in talks with Shahid Kapoor about the project.
He claimed that it is not feasible for them to start the project anytime soon as it is a big-budget action entertainer. "The truth is that the film has to be shot in multiple countries but because of the present situation we are living in, I don't know if we can even travel to Borivali for the shoot. So we are not sure if we can pull it off during the pandemic," said Khaitan. He further added, "we need a lot of logical support for us to shoot the film in 4 different countries. Once the normalcy is restored around the world, we will revive the project,". Meanwhile, Shahid Kapoor will wrap up the shooting of his web series and Shashank will get busy with his next starring Vicky Kaushal.
