Shahid Kapoor to play the lead role- Amazon Prime videos announces the commencement of the production for an upcoming untitled film Amazon Original Series. The credit for the creation of this eccentric drama thriller goes to Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK and marks the digital debut of Shahid Kapoor. The Raj and DK's trademark dark and ironical farcical, film will mark the new duo's collaboration with Amazon Prime Video following the spectacular success of The Family Man.

The show is co-written by Sita R Menon, Suman Kumar, and Hussain Dalal. The Director and head of, Content of AMazon Prime Video- Vijay Submaniyam said that Amazon takes pride in being the euphoria of the best talent and storytellers from India and across the world. He added that Shahid Kapoor is a gifted actor and Amazon is extremely excited to have him join the Prime Family with a brand new collaboration of the duo of Raj and DK. Talking of Shahid Kapoor's debut he said that- he loved the story idea when he first heard it. He said that his favorite Indian show on Amazon Prime Video is The Family Man.
