Sanjay Gupta Opens Up About The Process Of Making 'Mumbai Saga'

Bollywood stars John Abraham and Emraan Hashmi joined hands to come up with an action-packed crime drama titled 'Mumbai Saga'. Sanjay Gupta is helming this project which also features stars like Kajal Agarwal, Suniel Shetty, Rohit Roy, Anjana Sukhani, Mahesh Manjrekar, Hrithik Babar, Amol Gupte, Gulshan Grover, etc in key roles. The teaser hinted that it is a powerful story set in the 1980s which revolves around the transformation of Bombay into Mumbai. John Abraham is playing the role of Amartya Rao, a gangster and Emraan Hashmi play a sincere police officer. 

Talking about the making of the film, the writer, director, and producer of the film Sanjay Gupta said, “When I was working on the story of Mumbai Saga for years, the only thing I believed was that I have to be true to the story, and I have to showcase all the stakeholders in the story just the way they used to be. All the characters in the film are real and larger than life”. 'Mumbai Saga' is scheduled for a release on March 19th and will clash with Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra’s 'Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar' are the box-office.
