Samantha is currently juggling three projects in her hands and will be appearing in Amazon Originals The Family Man season 2, a Tamil film "Kathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal" and a Telugu film "Shaakuntalam". She is just one step away from making a pan-Indian recognition with her Bollywood debut, Samantha Akkineni is perfectly buckled up to make her digital appearance in The Family Man 2 starring male-lead Manoj Bajpayee. The buzz is that she is playing an antagonistic role in this series which automatically raises the bar of expectations as not many protagonist actors manage to perfect the skills to portray a negative role.

The Family Man season 2 is set for its ultimate premiere on 11th June only on the notable OTT platform Amazon Prime. To add up to the pre-existing hype, Samantha and the directors of this series, Raj and DK, decide to give their experiences on the former's eccentric role in this series. Both the directors were firm on the fact that Samantha will deliver some jaw-dropping looks and exquisitely raw performance. "Samantha is playing a bold role in the film and her performance will shock everyone. We were a bit skeptical about her inclusion as we didn’t know if she would agree to star in the bold and edgy set-up,” the director duo added.
