Samantha Akkineni to play mute 

The Tollywood film industry is abuzz about mute roles, after the success of the movie Nishabdham, starring Anushka. Samatha, who is up for challenging characters, is all set to play a mute in her upcoming bilingual thriller flick with Ashwin Saravanan. The movie will be a women-centric horror flick. It will be the second one in the genre for the actress after Raaju Gari Gadhi 2. Samantha played an exceptionally different character in her recent project, Hey Baby. The news is rife from the sources that the role is going to be intriguing. The actress has also started attending workshops to hone the role to perfection.  

The movie is bankrolled by Sony Entertainment. Major parts of the film will be shot in Dehradun and the rest in Ramoji film city. A huge set has been erected in RFC for the same, to accommodate important sequences in the film.  Meanwhile, Samantha is looking forward to the release of her digital platform debut with Family Man 2 on Amazon Prime. Apart from this, she is also managing her latest venture Saaki World, which is an e-commerce platform.
