Saina Nehwal's Biopic To Release In March

'Saina' is an upcoming Bollywood sports film which is going to be the biopic of popular badminton player Saina Nehwal. Bollywood beauty Parineeti Chopra is playing the role of Saina Nehwal in the film. Director Amol Gupte who is well known for his work in 'Taare Zameen Par' is wielding the megaphone for this project. Though the film was supposed to hit theatres in September 2020, it got postponed due to the ongoing covid-19 pandemic. As per the latest reports, the makers have finally locked a date for the release of the film. 

'Saina' movie is is scheduled to hit the silver screens on 26th March 2021. The makers have unveiled the teaser of the film today which showcased Parineeti who transformed into Saina for the film and spiked the expectations on the film. Touted to be an inspiring story of one of India's greatest athletes, Saina Nehwal, Shraddha Kapoor got on board to play the titular role initially but later opted out of the project because of the dates unavailability. The makers later roped in Parineeti Chopra for the same role. Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Sujay Jairaj and Rasesh Shah are bankrolling this project which is an Amaal Malik's musical.
