Release Date Locked For Kangana's 'Thalaivi'

Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is playing legendary actor turned politician Jayalalithaa in the biopic. Titled 'Thalaivi', AL Vijay is helming the project and the expectations are sky-high on the film. Today, on the birth anniversary of Jayalalithaa the movie unit of 'Thalaivi' has unveiled a motion poster of the film and also announced the release date of this much-awaited biopic. Kangana Ranaut also took Twitter to remember the legendary actress on her birth anniversary and also announced the release date of the movie.

Witness the story of the legend, #Thalaivi, in cinemas on 23rd April, 2021," wrote Kangana Ranaut on Twitter. The motion poster featured Jayalalithaa's wonderful journey from the film industry to politics. The background voice-over said that she entered the film industry and changed the face of Indian cinema. She entered politics and changed the fate of Tamilnadu. She created history by shaping the destiny of millions and became 'Thalaivi'". Touted to be a multilingual movie, Vishnuvardhan and Shailesh R Singh are bankrolling this highly anticipated project.
