The praise comes inline with Rashmika's appreciation for the movie Uppena. Devi Sri Prasad had composed music for Uppena. The movie is having a successful run at the theaters and much of the appreciation is given to the storyline, its music, and a powerful performance from the newbies in the movie Krithi Shetty and Vaishnav Tej, along with its antagonist Vijay Setupathi. Rashmika used her official Twitter handle to appreciate DSP, along with the writer of the movie Sukumar and the movie makers Mythri Cinemas for working up a sensation like Uppena.

The movie Uppena has roared high much before its release because of the songs. The young actor from the Mega Family had tasted success with his first flick. Rashmika is currently shooting for Mission Majnu. The movie marks her Bollywood Debut. She is cast opposite Sidharth Malhotra.
