As the outbreak of covid-19 plunged in India, the film industry also got affected all over again. Just when the audience are slowly adopting the new normal situation of the theatres, the second wave of Coronavirus has made the government impose lockdown again. Even in the Telugu States, Telangana has been facing a night curfew. On this note, so many movies which are supposed to get released this weekend got postponed. However, only a small budget movie is likely to hit the theatres and the film is 'Asalem Jarigindi'.

Starring Sriram and Sanchita Padukone, cinematographer turned director NVR helmed this project. Based on true incidents in Telangana, K Neelima under Exodus Media bankrolled this project. Set in the village backdrop, the teaser and trailer of the film have hinted that the movie is going to be a suspense love story and received a decent response from the audience. The movie is going to get a theatrical release on April 30th, 2021. We have to wait and see how far the movie is going to impress the audience.
