Netflix’s The Other Renamed As Ajeeb Daastaans

Netflix’s The Other starring Aditi Rao Hydari, Shefali Shah, Fatima Sana Shaikh is now titled Ajeeb Daastaans. Early in January 2020, Netflix stated a set of originals from various filmmakers in India. One of the projects was The Other, which was the original title at the time. Reports are circling that it will be now called Ajeeb Daastaans. It is an anthology of four films that showcases quite diverse aspects of the “other” angle. The stories shed light on relationships and their complexities, the film purports the third person in a relationship, it talks about the one who destroys it, or, maybe even builds it.

The new extension to the cast are actors Aditi Rao Hydari, Inayat Verma, and Abhishek Banerjee. Producer Karan Johar previously spoke about the film that it is an anthology that allows filmmakers to bring together diverse creative minds to showcase various facets of the same concept in a unique manner, and Netflix manifests these splendidly. The Other is one such film that probes into the different complexities of human bonds. He added that each director their vision to the table, amalgamating in a piece that countless onlookers across the world will definitely resonate with.
