Nag Ashwin's latest movie Kalki 2898 AD is taking the box office by storm across all regions. In just its first week, the film crossed the 700 crore mark and is now speeding towards the 1000 crore milestone. Only a select few movies have achieved this remarkable feat, and it seems like a walk in the park for this Prabhas starrer.
While the audience is showering the movie with love, there have been a few complaints about the pacing of the first half. Some viewers expressed their dissatisfaction with how this part was handled. In a recent interview, Nag Ashwin shared insights into his approach to crafting the first half. He mentioned, "It was crucial for us to establish the world and characters in the initial part. There was a concern about whether the audience would connect and empathize with this new world within the given timeframe."
Nag Ashwin went on to explain, "With four prominent stars in the movie, we needed to strike a balance both in terms of storytelling and market appeal. In the first half, we had to juggle showcasing the stars while also introducing three distinct worlds. So, it was quite a creative challenge."
