Manjummel Boys Has Set Its OTT Release Date!

The success of Manjummel Boys, far beyond their expectations, proves that quality films resonate strongly with audiences. Surpassing the 200 crore mark in gross earnings, it stands as a testament to this principle in the Mollywood industry. The Telugu adaptation also enjoyed commercial success, grossing over 10 crores.

Exciting news has arrived for eager fans: Manjummel Boys will debut digitally on May 5 on Disney Plus Hotstar, as officially confirmed by the streaming platform. The film will be available in Malayalam, Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, and Kannada languages simultaneously. This release marks a gap of 74 days between its theatrical and OTT premiere.

Set against the backdrop of 2006, the movie narrates the true story of youths from Manjummel who embarked on a daring rescue mission to save their friend trapped in Kodaikanal’s Guna cave. Directed by Chidambaram, this gripping survival thriller features Soubin Shahir, Sreenath Basi, Balu Varghese, Ganapati S Poduval, Jean Paul Lal, Deepak Parambol, Abhiram Radhakrishnan, and Arjun Kurian in pivotal roles. Produced by Babu Shahir, Soubin Shahir, and Shawn Antony under the Parava Films banner, with musical compositions by Sushin Shyam.
