Mani Ratnam to venture his work into OTT platforms  

Mani Ratnam is a legendary Indian film director who predominantly works for Tamil Film Industry. Some of his evergreen films are close to the audience's hearts like Roja, Bombay, Raavan and the list never ends. 

The recent buzz which has been running around him is that Mani Ratnam is looking forward to finally step in the world of online cinema, i.e. he will be soon pitching in his finest work for OTT platforms. 

Mani Ratnam will be a part of a nine-episode web series which seems like a collection of short films that goes by the title 'Navarasa'. He will be writing and directing one episode along with 8 other directors who will be working their best efforts for the remaining 8 episodes.  

Sources revealed that along with Mani Ratnam, other notable directors such as Gautham Menon, KV Anand, Karthick Naren, Rathindran Prasad, Ponram and Bejoy Nambiar will be working on this web-series.   

Surprisingly prominent actors like Aravind Swami and Siddharth will be executing their directorial debut by directing a film each in Navarasa. 

When it comes to casting for Navarasa, the directors carefully chose just the right actors who will mould into their roles. Renowned actors like Suriya, Vijay Sethupathi, Arvind Swami, Sneha, Parvathy Thiruvothu and Siddarth and Dulquer Salmaan will be playing their characters in their respective episodes along with several other distinguished actors.  

This much-awaited project seems like a masterpiece since it is a mixture of one of the finest cast and crew.
