Mammootty's 'Kaadhal: The Core' Faces Overseas Ban Over Content Controversy

Mollywood Megastar Mammootty's upcoming release, "Kaadhal: The Core," confronts international bans in Qatar and Kuwait, posing a significant challenge for the film's global reach.

Mammootty, the celebrated Mollywood Megastar, fondly known as Mammooka, recently tasted success with Kannur Squad. Now, he's poised to enthrall audiences with "Kaadhal: The Core," slated for a theatrical release on November 23, 2023.

However, a setback emerges as the movie faces a ban in Qatar and Kuwait due to its depiction of homosexual content, presenting a challenge for its business prospects. The team's response to this issue remains to be seen.

Adding to the anticipation, actress Jyotika takes on a lead role in a Malayalam film after over a decade. Directed by Joe Baby, known for "The Great Indian Kitchen," the film is produced by Mammootty Kampany and Wayfarer Films.

Mathews Pulickan serves as the music director in this highly anticipated project. The film's journey unfolds against the backdrop of both success and challenges, making it a subject of keen interest for cinephiles.
