KGF Chapter 2, to wrap up by month-end
2020 had many surprises in its kitty, much of it to the worse. KGF Chapter 2 had been one of its victims. Pandemic halted the shooting, and the deteriorating health condition of another took shooting to a hold. KGF Chapter 2 was supposed to release in October. The movie starring Yash, directed by Prashanth Neel, had an overwhelming success. Even before the release, high expectations were in Chapter 2. First, the Pandemic struck, later its lead actor Sanjay Dutt's health deteriorated after he was diagnosed with Stage 3 lung cancer. The team was in a dilemma to release the content on the OTT platform or in Theatres.
With Unlock-5 guidelines making way to opening theatres, the KGF team decided to release the movie in theatres on January 14th, 2021. The team is all geared up and raring to wrap up the shooting by the month-end. The movie will be released in Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu languages and four different studios are working on it which includes KRG Studios for the Kannada, Excel Entertainment & AA Films for the Hindi, Vaaraahi Chalana Chitram for the Telugu language, and Vishal Film Factory for the Tamil version of the movie.
This is good news for the fans that have been eagerly waiting for the release of the movie.
