Juhi Chawla Planted 55,135 Saplings

Yesteryear actress Juhi Chawla is also an environmentalist who has now made it into the news with her good deeds. The actress has so far planted over fifty-five thousand trees over a span of two years and also pledged to plant many more in the future. The actress also said that the temperatures have been rising every year and suggested that everyone should plant more trees to make April cooler. Juhi who is also the co-founder of IPL franchise Kolkata Knight Riders had previously hosted an organic market that empowered local farmers but the idea didn't see the light because of the Covid restrictions last year. 

Juhi even started a new trend in Bollywood to donate trees to her friends in the industry on their birthdays as a token of love. She stated that she has planted 55,135 saplings till now and also promised a non-profit organization to plant about a lakh. Not only Juhi but also other celebs like Dia Mirza, Kajol, etc said the advantages of planting trees on the occasion of World Earth Day. On the work front, Juhi is currently busy shooting for her upcoming web series 'Hush Hush'.
