Jackie Shroff signed his first international project

Jackie Shroff is one of the most admired Bollywood actors who aces in supporting roles and antagonist roles. He was very recently seen in Salman Khan's film Radhe - Your Most Wanted Bhai, and it didn't turn out so well. But this alone shouldn't be the deciding factor of how skilled and talented is Jackie Shroff. This veteran actor is now bagged in for an international project for his upcoming film. He will be portraying the role of a real-life musician Joseph Manuel Da Rocha who also goes by the stage name Slow Joe. This biopic revolves around how the 64-year-old fragile musician's life changed and how he became a renowned sensation in France. As of now Jackie is buckled up for this role and is doing all the necessary preparations for the shoot. According to the reports, this biopic will be shot in Mumbai, Goa, Paris, and Lyon and will be made in multiple languages i.e in English, French, and Konkani. The Slow Joe biopic will be produced on a massive budget by an Indo-Singaporean producer Shreyashi Sen under her banner Darpan Global banner. 

Slow Joe was born on March 22, 1943, in Bombay. He was a poet in his youth and was immersed in wanderlust. By the time he was 64 years old, he was a drug addict and alcohol abuser but negative traits aside, he did possess an innate musical talent and a rare crooner voice.
