The news is rife that Shruti Hassan is likely to play the lady lead in the upcoming action thriller Salaar. The movie is directed by KGF sensation Prashanth Neel and stars young Rebel-star Prabhas in the leading role. The shoot for the movie will commence soon. Prabhas has three back-to-back projects lined-up this year. Prabhas will start shooting for the movie in Hyderabad. The film is touted to be an action entertainer, and the shoot is expected to be completed at a fast pace. Several names have been circling for the female lead, and the media even speculated the names of Katrina Kaif and Disha Patani.

But the newest thought making rounds assume that Prashanth Neel is interested in roping Shruti Hassan for the role.
