Is Samantha A Zombie?

The news is rife, Samantha will be playing a zombie in the sequel of Zombie Reddy. Zombie Reddy might have garnered mixed reviews but the film made with a simple budget did turn out to be a productive venture to its makers. The movie directed by Prashanth Varma of Awe fame has Teja Sajja of Oh Baby fame in the lead role. Soon after the release of the film the director had made his intentions clear that there is going to be a sequel and it is titled Revenge of Death. If everything goes according to the plans, Samantha Akkineni would be playing the leading lady in this sequel. 

Prashanth has requested Samantha for the role through Teja. Prashanth is believed to have narrated the story to Samantha and it is whirred that Samantha has liked it and gave her nod to the film. Samantha is always up for the experiments. It is a known fact that she is also doing a negative role in the web series Family Man 2. On the work front, Samantha will soon join the sets of Shakuntalam which will be directed by Gunasekhar of Rudhramadevi fame.
