The late Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan's long-awaited film is set to release in India after his untimely demise in April 2020. The Song of Scorpions, written and directed by Anup Singh, has faced numerous delays but will finally hit screens across India on April 28, 2023, as officially announced by the film's makers on social media.

The movie had its world premiere at the 70th Locarno Film Festival in Locarno, Switzerland on August 9, 2017. Golshifteh Farahani, Waheeda Rehman, Sara Arjun, and other notable actors played important roles in this Hindi movie. Panorama Studios and 70mm Talkies banners are set to release the film in India, with Beatrice Thiriet serving as the music director.
