In Naga Chaitanya's Latest Film, Thandel Tells The Story Of A Fisherman Who Accidentally Strayed Into Pakistani Waters.

Naga Chaitanya's upcoming movie, Thandel, is helmed by the talented director Chandoo Mondeti and features Sai Pallavi as the female lead. In a recent interview, the actor opened up about the romantic drama with a patriotic touch, revealing that it is inspired by the real-life story of Raju, who found himself in Pakistani waters for nearly two years before returning to India.

Chaitanya shared, "I dedicated nine months to prepare for this role. Raju's story is truly inspiring, and I want to do justice to it, especially nailing the Srikakulam accent. Visiting Raju's home and interacting with fishermen helped me grasp their struggles. Thandel is a significant project for me, and I am fully invested in it."

Bunny Vas is working on a new film called Thandel with GA2 Pictures. The well-known producer Allu Arvind will be presenting it. And the amazing tunes will be composed by none other than Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad. They're aiming to release the movie on December 20, 2024.
