Grieving music icon A.R Rahman's condolences on the demise of S.P Balasubrahmanyam

Sripathi Panditaradhyula Balasubrahmanyam is one of the most renowned playback singers of multiple eras, who took his last breath in Chennai at the age of 74 on Friday at the MGM Healthcare. The whole industry including A.R Rahman and music maestro Ilayaraja who have expressed their condolences on social media.
S.P Balasubrahmanyam always made affinity and an exceptional rapport with every music composer he worked with. Especially A.R Rahman and Ilayaraja who are extraordinary music composers and one of the most talented assets of the entertainment industry. A.R Rahman took it to the internet and expressed his condolences by sharing some of his gifted memories with the legendary Balasubrahmanyam through a video.
Rahman said, "One of my first performances was at SPB's birthday celebration hosted by Maniratnam. I started on a high note and then turned music composer for 'Roja' he came in for recording. He saw the studio and said this is where the recording is going to take place. I smiled and then after the release of 'Roja' he came to me and said music can be created anywhere,".
Further, Rahman said, "All I can is we should celebrate his music, his life, his personality. SPB sir we miss you. I won't say it's a loss."
Film Editor T.S Suresh has also posted a vintage photo of Ilayaraja and Balasubrahmanyam where we could see them working together. He captioned it, "I can't even begin to imagine what Ilayaraja must be going through/dealing with at this moment."
