'Gangubai Kathiawadi' To Clash With 'Radhe Shyam'

'Gangubai Kathiawadi' is a Bollywood much-awaited featuring Alia Bhat in the titular role. The film is based on a chapter of Hussain Zaidi's book 'Mafia Queens of Mumbai' about Gangubai Kothewali, the madam of a brothel in Kamathipura. Sanjay Leela Bhansali is helming this project which also casts Shantanu Maheshwari, Vijay Raaz and Seema Pahwa. Ajay Devgn, Emraan Hashmi and Huma Qureshi are going to appear in cameo roles in the film. Recently, on the occasion of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s birthday, the team of Gangubai Kathiawadi are all set to come up with a special teaser today, and rumors are rife that the makers will also announce the release date of this film with the teaser.

It seems like the movie unit is yet to decide between April 30 and May 21. However, as the film won't be ready by then they have pushed the release to July. July 9 is also a consideration for its release. But, sources are claiming that the release date is July 30. If the makers lock that date, there will be a clash between 'Gangubai Kathiawadi' and Prabhas as the makers of his upcoming movie 'Radhe Shyam' also announced July 30 as the release date. Pooja Hegde is playing the female lead in this Radha Krishna Kumar's directorial.
